Local Elections 101

This training covers key guidelines that a local must follow in order to conduct a valid and legal election of local union officials (President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary etc.).

The training outlines the importance of notice, timing, participation, secret ballots, and proper campaigning.

In addition, the training addresses some of the obstacles locals may encounter at election time (limited resources, member apathy, and officers in dispute).
