The Center for Grounded Action is hosting a FREE resilience workshop on November 11th in Newton, MA at 1:00pm for all federal employees. Others are welcome, too!

If you've lost your job, or are furloughed, or impacted by the cuts to federal programs, the Center for Grounded Action can help.

You'll be met with compassion, and skillful new practices to develop resilience. The interactive workshop teaches skills for deep, effective practices to handle stress, and empowering, relational skills to connect.

Based in neuroscience and psychology, by the Center for Grounded Action. Hands on experience; and immediate application. People can put these skills to work right away, and manage difficult situations with more ease.

Staffed by skilled trainers, offering their time, you'll engage in lots of practices and have the space to be heard and helped.

Some reviews from federal employees:

"A plethora of skills to cope and move forward with resilience", "soul-filling, nurturing, informative, much-needed training", "a ray of light and hope in a dark time", "the most excellently run virtual workshop I've attended".

Union Local Tax Issues

Federal law now requires that every local union file an annual information return—Form 990, 990-EZ, or 990-N—with the IRS.

If your local fails to file under this new requirement, your local will lose its tax-exempt status.
