Save the date! Our friends and colleagues of the Greater Boston Labor Council have helped to organize Boston's first major Labor Day Parade on Monday, September 1, 2025.

NAGE encourages all who are available to go out and enjoy the festivities! This is a great opportunity to build solidarity with other local labor organizations, raise visibility in standing united against the unjust acts of this administration, and celebrate all that labor has accomplished by sticking together in this trying year.

Information for the parade is on the flyer below, and more information can be found by contacting GBLC Leader Liz Eng at leng@gblc.us.

Hope to see you there!

Union Local Tax Issues

Federal law now requires that every local union file an annual information return—Form 990, 990-EZ, or 990-N—with the IRS.

If your local fails to file under this new requirement, your local will lose its tax-exempt status.
