The Change to Win Federation (CtW) is a coalition of American labor unions that was formed on September 27, 2005. The coalition is chaired by James P. Hoffa, General President of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters. The coalition currently consists of four member unions: The International Brotherhood of Teamsters (IBT); Service Employees International Union (SEIU); United Farm Workers (UFW); and United Food and Commercial Workers (UFCW).
Change to Win was founded on the principle that there is strength in numbers. CtW strongly advocates for the rights of American workers to unionize in order to equip them with the tools and resources they need to be successful within the work place. The coaltion encourages unions to collaborate and organize on an industry-wide basis in order to channel resources to organizing new members.
